I’M ON A WORLD TOUR! In this video, I visit the architectural treasure of Denmark: Copenhagen! It also happens to be the capital city eh eh! I was in the city only for a short weekend trip! It was amazing tho! I got to see so many things! As you can tell from the video, I have visited the Rosenborg Castle, Christiansborg Palace, Rundetaarn, the National Museum of Denmark and so much more! It was just an amazing trip! People were extremely nice and polite. The lifestyle is so relax compared to London! Copenhagen also happens to be an architectural treasure. It’s just like having a foot in the past and a foot in the future! There isn’t anything better than that; is there? There are so many buildings from another time yet so many modern buildings! I think that’s what makes Copenhagen a ver...
In this video from our latest MAD Monday, which had “Trash or Treasure” as its theme, the rising star chef Matt Orlando, of Copenhagen’s Amass, discusses how you can create a sustainable ecosystem to feed your restaurant, as well as find delicious flavors in items you would normally throw in the bin. “I used to think that everything that came out of a greenhouse didn’t taste good,” says Orlando. But his opinion changed as he was figuring out what to do with the expansive plot of land his restaurant sits on. In those early months, he started discovering innovative ways to deal with compost and grow much of the menu’s products right out the front door. As Orlando explains, a clever “worm hotel” is one of the most important engineers of this ecosystem.
A morning run in Copenhagen is nothing but magical. Its quiet and beautiful while our small capital is slowly waking up and prepares itself for yet another day. These morning runs are a personal treasure of mine (and probably hundreds other Copenhageners) and one we daily share with our running guests. See you on the streets of CPH! Thanks to Tina Dickow for letting us use her amazing song "Copenhagen". Also a huge thanks to our multimedia intern Anna Josefine Jakobsen who has made this video.
A whole world, hidden in a chest! What would be inside the LEGO Elves treasure chest? You can open the top and front of the treasure chest. However you need to build a key first. The shape of each key bit is shown on a picture. You have to puzzle how to put the bricks together to get the same shape. When the key bit is finished the key can be put into to lock at the front of the treasure chest which will then open! This awesome creation was built by LEGO fan Anika Brandsma - Check out this clip from the LEGO World event in Copenhagen to see this awesome fan creation in action! Welcome to Copenhagen, Denmark! This stunning place is also called “The City of Spires,” and after arriving here, you’ll see why. A tour of Copenhagen reveals cobblestone streets, beautiful canals, and many 16th and 17th-century buildings crowned by the aforementioned spires. Don’t let the archaic exterior of these buildings fool you; they house very modern restaurants, theaters, and shops, and you can easily spend days sampling seafood and coffees at the various eateries. One of Copenhagen’s most beloved attractions is Tivoli Gardens, a theme park that dates back to 1843. Watch a pantomime, ride one of the oldest roller coasters, or just enjoy a trip in a dragon boat. After a few hours at Tivoli Gardens, continue your Copenhagen sightseeing in the city proper. Copenhagen is like someth...

Travel video about destination Copenhagen in Denmark. Copenhagen is the capital of the Kingdom of Denmark and is situated on the east coast of Sæland Island on the Öresund, the link between the North Sea and the Baltic. It is a European capital of culture, home country of the Little Mermaid and a successful combination of Scandinavian elegance and Middle-European joie de vivre. In 1167, Bishop Absalon of Roskilde was granted by King Valdemar I an area of land on Öresund, to which the small settlement of Havn also belonged. For the protection of both fishermen and traders, he built a fortress and the settlement developed into Kobenhavn, the Harbor of Merchants. Copenhagen was born and the fortress was continuously enlarged until in 1376, a castle was built on its foundation. The huge Chri...
